New York has a brandnew oldfashioned home-delivery service for fresh milk again. The Manhattan Milk Company delivers organic milk in glass bottles to Manhattan’s doors every wednesday in the early morning. The delivery charge is 5 US$. The empty bottles are taken by the driver when the fresh ones are delivered.
The milk is produced by more than 50 organic Armish-People-farms in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, about 160 kms away from NY. The delivery is done by truck, here the company may improve their sustainability e.g. using bicycles or so.
Than it would be real slowretail.
